Wes is doing an excellent job with his indoor manners and is well on his way to being fully house-trained. Like any young puppy, he may need a few days to settle into a new routine, but he’s off to a fantastic start. Looking for the perfect mix of playful puppy and easygoing companion? Meet Philly, a handsome 4-month-old German Shepherd mix weighing around 25 pounds. With those adorable puppy paws and growing frame, he's expected to be a big boy when fully grown!

 

Philly is the kind of puppy who wins hearts wherever he goes. While he enjoys wrestling and playing with his canine friends, he's surprisingly laid-back for a youngster and loves to follow the lead of the dogs around him. Living with six foster siblings ranging from 10 to 70 pounds, Philly has learned excellent dog manners and accepts correction beautifully from both his foster mom and the resident dogs.

 

This smart little guy is already making impressive progress with his indoor manners and has been accident-free since settling into his foster home. He loves his twice-a- day pack walks, enjoys exploring the fenced acreage with excellent recall, and is learning his leash manners. When he's tired from all the fun, Philly will happily head to his crate all by himself for a cozy nap!

 

Philly is eager to please, incredibly intelligent, and would thrive with a family committed to continuing his training through puppy classes. His foster family believes he has all the makings of an exceptional companion. He currently lives with indoor cats and, while he may bark at them occasionally, he responds well to corrections and shows no desire to harm them.

 

Like any puppy, Philly will need supervision as he learns the rules of his new home, but so far he's been a very good boy—no socks or shoes have fallen victim to puppy mischief! As long as he has plenty of toys and love, he's a happy camper.

Hi, I’m Maxwell! I’m an approximately 16-week-old hound puppy weighing in at 23 pounds of pure fun and adventure. My tail hasn’t stopped wagging since day one!

 

If there’s something to explore, I’m already on my way. If there’s a new smell to investigate, you can bet I’ll be leading the expedition. I’ve met kids, other dogs, and even a cat, and I’ve handled every introduction like a friendly little gentleman.

 

When playtime is over, I’m all about the cuddles. I love giving kisses, soaking up attention, and curling up next to my favorite people. I’m also a serious foodie—I haven’t met a snack I didn’t love! Toys are great, but I’m just as happy chasing around a plastic bottle or two and creating my own entertainment.

 

I love running around outside and playing with my fellow dog friends.  I’m have excellent indoor manners; I’m working hard on my leash manners, and learning something new every day. I’m up to date on vaccines, neutered, dewormed, and on monthly preventatives.

Depending on the light, Cheddar seems to change colors—sometimes he looks like a rich chocolate Lab, and other times his beautiful silver coat shines through. No matter the lighting, one thing is certain: he’s absolutely gorgeous.

 

Cheddar has never met a stranger, adores people of all ages, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, is cat-friendly, and is always happy to make a new friend.

Meet Reggie! 🐾

 

At around 1½ years old and 70 pounds, Reggie is a big, goofy puppy with an even bigger heart. His mission in life? To be your very best friend.

 

Reggie is perfect in the house, is crate trained, and sleeps soundly in his crate every night. He also does best crated when home alone. He walks beautifully on a harness, loves going for runs, and is happiest when he’s out making new human friends—because everyone is just a friend he hasn’t met yet!  Reggie knows sit, come, down, off, paw & more. He catches a treat tossed to him like a professional athlete and takes treats like a gentleman! 

 

Reggie is a total dog lover and would thrive with another active, playful dog to be his best buddy! His young, energetic personality means he may accidentally overwhelm a senior or lower-energy dog, so he’d be happiest with a canine companion who loves to play as much as he does. He would also do wonderfully as an only dog, where he can enjoy being the star of the show and soak up all the love and attention.
